Hip Pain?? - hip pain herpes

I am new to cycling and have traveled for 4 months. With every month, I increased the distance from my travels and I train for a course of this century, completed in November. Recently I've noticed that you started to reach approximately 12 miles from my travels, I some discomfort in his right hip feel. There is no stopping you ride, but it is certainly a warning. I would rather describe the pain as dull in nature. The only way to alleviate the symptoms is to straighten my leg, but once you use it to turn the pedals again and again pain. Perhaps this has to do with core strength? Or perhaps I am far from the base ... Ideas?
